You can import text in a new or existing document.
This allows you to author text in a word processor and then add it to a
coreldraw document. CorelDraw supports the following text file formats:
- ANSI (TXT)
- Microsoft Word Document (DOC)n files
- Microsoft Word Open XML Document (DOCX) files
- WordPerfect file (WPD)
- Rich Text Format (RTF) files
To Import Text in a
Document
- Click File> Import.
- Choose the drive and folder where the file is stored
- Click the filename
- Click Import
- In the importing/pasting text dialog box, choose one the following options:
- Maintain fonts and formatting
- Maintain formatting only
- Discard fonts and formatting
- Choose one of the following:
- Position the import cursor in the drawing page, and click
- Click and drag on the drawing page to define the size of the text frame
- Press the spacebar to place the imported text in the default location.
To Paste Text in a
Document
- Copy or cut text
- Click Edit > Paste
- In the importing/pasting text dialog box, enable one of the following options:
- Maintain fonts and formatting
- Maintain formatting only
- Discard fonts and formatting
